Welcome to Re:Hope West End!
We're so glad you're here. Whether you're planning a visit or looking for a church to call your own, you are so welcome to join us this Sunday!
10am & 4.30pm ○ Pre-Service Prayer
As a church we passionately believe in prayer. Each Sunday we meet before each service to worship, listen, and call out to God for one another, our City and our Nation. Kids are welcome too! Our Kids Pastors set up a special space for kids during this prayer time too, so that they can join in.
Prayer finishes around 10.30am, giving plenty of time to grab a cuppa and something to eat before the service begins.
11am, 5.30pm & 7pm ○ Morning, Evening Service & Student Service
Each service starts with notices and an opportunity for people to share stories of what God is doing in their lives. We love to celebrate stories of answered prayer. After share time, we’re led in worship by the band from the front. This usually lasts 20/25 minutes, and all the words are on the screen. We encourage you to engage at your own pace, so if sitting and observing is more comfortable you should feel free to do so.
After our first time of sung worship, we hear a talk from our Senior Pastor, or someone on our team. We plan our talks to be engaging, challenging, applicable and Biblical. They normally last around 30 minutes. We conclude our services with a second time of worship as we reflect on what we have heard. If you’d like to take communion or have someone pray with you, there’s also an opportunity during this time.
Kids on Sundays
Wee:Hope, our children’s ministry, is available during both morning and evening services.
A supervised crèche is also available during the morning service. We’ll have a max capacity of 4 under threes - so please sign up beforehand to ensure a space! Please email or speak to Rachel if you have any questions!
In 2003, Brian and Kellie Ingraham moved from to Glasgow with a clear calling and passion for church planting. On January 9th, 2005, Re:Hope Church opened its doors in Glasgow’s West End with a small but committed group of missionaries.
We’re desperate to see God move in the West End of Glasgow, and reawaken hearts to who He is. We’re committed to pursuing all He calls us into, to reach and raise up mature Jesus followers of the next generation. We want to see His Kingdom come in our time, as we learn to love Him back with all that we are.
When you arrive for the 11am, 5.30pm or 7pm service, our welcome team will be at the door to greet you. From there, you’ll be offered a hot drink and a snack, and they can help you find a seat. Our welcome area is in the main room, and is signposted. It’s a great place to go to find out more information, and there is always a member of our team there after the service.
In current restricitons due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some aspects of church look a little different to normal. You can find out more over at our 'coming to church' page.
If you come for Pre-Service Prayer, come on in and find a seat anywhere in the main room. The prayer time is led from the front, so feel free to join in as much or as little as you’d like.
Is car parking available?
On street parking is available and free on Sundays, but cars must be parked in designated bays.
If you can, we encourage you to use public transport.
The closest subway stations are Kelvinhall or Partick, and both are just a short walk (5 minutes) from our building.
What is your age demographic?
Our congregation is made up of people of all ages, and everyone is welcome! We have a large community of students and young adults who are part of our church family, as well as lots of kids and families. We’d love to welcome you here, whatever your age or background.
How long does the
Our services usually last about an hour and a half. People are welcome to hang around afterwards to chat, and prayer ministry continues for as long as people need.
What do people wear?
People tend to dress informally, so don’t worry about having to dress up - jeans and t-shirts are in the majority!
If you’d rather wear something more formal to church, that’s fine too.
What about Communion?
Communion is available at every service as part of our second worship and response time. We invite anyone who has given their life to Jesus to participate. Our Lead Pastor always points out where it’ll be served before the second worship set.
Is the building accessible?
We have a ramp to provide accessible entry at the front of our building. Our Welcome Team are also on hand to offer assistance where necessary. There are accessible toilets and baby changing facilities available.
